I'm Eduardo Moreno, an Industrial Designer with a background in Mechanical Design, Sheet Metal, and Design for Manufacturing, skilled in SolidWorks.
My Story
For me, being a Mechanical Designer is all about the thrill of tackling tricky design challenges and the satisfaction of seeing efficient manufacturing in action. My Product Design background really ignited my interest in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) – the art of creating products that are both innovative and easy to build.

Before fully diving into my career, I spent a year in the UK as an International Gapper. That experience really pushed me outside my comfort zone and taught me the value of being adaptable and seeing things from different perspectives. It definitely shaped how I approach design and its impact.

Since graduating, I've found my niche in the high-end kitchen manufacturing industry. As a Mechanical Designer, I'm always looking for ways to improve things. I quickly identified some areas where production could be smoother, and by introducing design standards and better workflows, we saw real improvements in manufacturing time and fewer errors. This led to my promotion to Lead Mechanical Designer, where I've had the rewarding experience of leading a team of five.

My core expertise lies in sheet metal design and manufacturing, and I've got practical experience with processes like laser cutting, CNC bending, and welding. My main goal is to keep learning and applying my skills to develop smart and efficient design and manufacturing solutions. What truly excites me is that moment when a design moves seamlessly from the drawing board to a perfectly produced product.
